Hey folks,
I’m starting to look at a possible headliner for this years festival. This is your chance to cast your vote for who you want to hear. I’m not talking about bringing back the kiss tour or anything crazy like that but I’ve been looking at a couple of up and coming bands like Joe Pug, Trampled By Turtles, Punch Brothers, The Hackinsaws Ect. Here’s your chance to let me know if there is anyone out there that masses of people want to hear and I will do my best to see if I can make something happen. We’ve got some good changes coming to you this year and I think this year is going to be one for the record books. Feel free to post your responses on facebook.

Pidgeons Playing Ping Pong rocked Elysian Fields. Larry keel would be a huge draw!
On another note do you have a mailing address for donations or just a paypal?
I just stumbled upon a group called the Red Rattles. Check them out on reverbnation.com. Beau you are going on there too but that we will discuss later. These guys sound really cool. Im gonna have to vote for them at least playing there. Hope all is going well.
Check this band out! I went to Radford with them and they are awesome and very entertaining!
The Harwell Grice Band has been entertaining audiences throughout southwest Virginia, nonstop, for the past five years. Their original bluegrass and Americana mixed with a large repertoire of traditionals and even a few popular covers result in a very entertaining show. The Harwell Grice Band has morphed into a talented and versatile group of musicians, sharing the stage with the likes of Larry Keel, Seldom Scene, Tony Rice, and Blue Highway, to name a few. The main songwriter and lead singer, Josh Grice, has a singing style similar to that of Ronnie Bowman. Lead guitarist, Gabe Robey also sings lead and harmony vocals and makes major contributions to the bands original material in the way of songwriting. Members Matthew Hubbard (mandolin) and P.J. George (doghouse bass and baritone vocals) hold down the rock-solid rhythm section of the band and also contribute with original material. The latest addition to the band joined in late 2008 and is no stranger to bluegrass music. Stewart Werner, formerly of Second Helping, is a banjo-extraordinaire that comes to the band as a seasoned bluegrass musician adding bass vocals and songwriting ability.
