Hey everybody,

Well we made it out with yet another full load of river trash yesterday. It looks to be a pretty nice one. We decided to take a ride and circle some spots that we hadn’t been to in a while just to see how the trash situation was around the watershed. What you are seeing here is a combination  of Front Royal all the way down 340 into Luray on the South Fork and all the way back into Edinburg on the North Fork. I have to say it, the South Fork is a  nice wide piece of water and is made much better by all of the public boat landings that are provided to the public for recreation. I think the North Fork needs more of these and  it sure will if I have anything to do with it over the next few years. As always, thanks for the kind words of response and support for this needed cause.

440 Lb. Friday

Hey Folks,

The weight from last week ended up being 440 pounds with 8 tires a refrigerator door and some other fun things. Not a bad haul for a days work. Stay tuned because there is always more river trash coming your way.

Hey there everyone,

Had a good clean this Friday and of course I forgot my camera but was able to get a few pictures for you when I got home. No official weigh in yet, but I should have that for you on Tuesday. We’ve been gaining a lot of support out there here lately and it is much appreciated. Thanks to everyone who loves their river.

Hey all,

We finally got a chance to get everything weighed and separated from the clean this week. The final count was 820 pounds plus another 100 pounds of recyclables and 12 tires. Thanks to everyone for supporting what we do. We’ll see you back out on the river.

Hey All,

Boy did we have a busy day yesterday. I havent gotten a chance to sort the trash and get weights yet. Hopefully later this afternoon I’ll get to that, but here are our pictures. This was a really big load. Thanks to all who support what we do and keep telling people about the hard work your local river clean-up company is doing.

Thought this was pretty interesting. I think this is a chart devised by the Ocean Conservancy. Some of the time tables certainly surprised me. Is pollution really just something that will take care of itself?

Hey Folks,

We’ve been busy bees here lately trying to do our best to take advantage of the nice weather and get as much river work done as possible. Along with news of our river clean this Saturday which anyone is allowed to join we have some snap shots of a pile of river trash that has been gathering in my yard for a while now. We have just had the great fortune of someone opening up a scrap yard right beside our landfill so now we can truely get rid of our whole haul and get the best weight measurement possible. I hope you enjoy the photos of our trip and I hope you come out and clean with us sometime. Anyone is welcome and it’s a great time. Keep reading, keep supporting!

Hey folks,

Sorry for the delay. A bit of technical difficulty got in the way here recently and kept me from getting this updated to you. On Friday we went out on canoes for a few hours and ended up finding about 500 pounds of new river treasure for you to enjoy. So check out the pictures, and don’t be a stranger. There’s a river clean coming to a part of the water near you. Also in progress of some other very cool things that I cannot mention just yet. Stay tuned.
